🎙️📝 How to set up language, mic & writing panel (Desktop / Android)
Install Language Packs
- 🖥️ Windows Details
- Select Start > Settings > Time & language > Language & region.
- Find Preferred languages in the list and select Add a language.
- Search for the language you'd like to install, then select Next.
- 🖥️ Mac Details
- Click the Apple menu to open System Settings
- In the sidebar, click on General, then click Language & Region.
- Under the Preferred Languages list, click the Add button
- Search for the language you'd like to install, then select Confirm.
- Click Keyboard in the sidebar → toggle on Dictation (you can customize shortcut as preferred)
- 📱 Android Details
- Select Settings > System (or General management) > Language & input > Language
- Tap Add a language, select your desired language and dialect
Voice Typing & Typing in Target Language
- 🖥️ Windows Details
- Switch to your voice language **
- Place the insertion point where you want to enter text
- Press Windows logo key + H (activate Voice Typing launcher for automatic voice typing when you click to any text field) to start voice-typing, or use keyboard to type-in directly.
- 🖥️ Mac Details
- Switch to your voice language
- Place the insertion point where you want to enter text
- Press the Microphone key **on your Mac (or any customized shortcut that you have set up before) to start voice-typing, or use keyboard to type-in directly.

Note: You can use either Gboard (download from Google Play) or the built-in Android Text-to-Speech function—but I personally recommend Gboard for smoother input.
If you’re using Gboard, make sure the keyboard for your target language is installed and enabled in the app.

Switch to your voice language on your keyboard

At the top/or bottom of your keyboard, tap Microphone to start speaking.
